It is not just a standard plastic card, mind you. This is Apple we are talking about, where premium is part of the company’s nature. Hence, it is not surprising to see that Apple has chosen a different kind of material for its credit card.
Naturally, it is also a premium material: titanium. Apple further differentiates its titanium credit card by having only the owner’s name laser etched into the card which the company claimed has made the card more secure since there are no numbers, CVV security code, expiration dates, or even signature.
Ok, my exaggerated tone aside, the titanium credit card was really the only physical product that was shown during Apple’s event last night.
