The standard Vivo V15 has a lot in common with the V15 Pro, with a few important differences. To start, it boasts the same popup 32MP front-facing camera, and the triple camera setup at the rear. That said, the Vivo V15 comes with a 12MP camera leading the 8MP and 5MP cameras, rather than a 48MP camera. Despite the slightly larger size display, measuring in at 6.53 inches, it still sports the same Full HD+ display. However, the standard variant of V15 does not come with an in-display fingerprint sensor as you’ll find the traditional sensor on its back.
On the inside, you’ll find a MediaTek P70 chipset and a slightly larger battery, rated at 4000Ah. Beyond that, it has the same amount of RAM and internal storage, at 6GB and 128GB, respectively. It also runs the Funtouch OS 9, which is based on Android 9 Pie. The new phone will be made available in two colours including Topaz Blue, which is the same as the one we saw on the V15 Pro together with Glamour Red, which made a quiet appearance during the launch of the former. Consumers in Malaysia can look ahead for the pre-order of Vivo V15 starting from 16 till 22 March although the details behind the pre-order have yet been revealed by the company. Nevertheless, we were told that those details as well the price of the phone will be revealed on 16 March itself.
