Terminator: Dark Fate will not only see the return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, but will also introduce Mackenzie Davis in some sort of badass role. While the details of her character are still kept a secret, director Tim Miller (Deadpool) promised that she’s strong, feminine and will definitely rile up closet misogynist AKA annoying internet attention seekers. In an interview with Variety, Miller said:

Reading this quote from Miller just puts a big smile on my face. Hollywood needs more strong female characters, regardless if it annoys the crap out of close-minded keyboard warriors who love spewing hateful things on the internet. On top of that, Miller also shared just how passionate he is about this project and these characters, particularly Sarah Connor. Tim Miller’s fiery passion definitely gets me a tad more excited for the movie. However, I’ve been cheated by the franchise one too many times that I’m definitely going to proceed to this one with caution.
