Users can now tweak videos via the media editor, which allows them to adjust parameters such as brightness or saturation with ease. On top of that, they can also add in animated stickers to both video and photo edits to spice things up. Telegram notes that images with these stickers included will be converted into GIF format after they are finalised.
Other improvements include the addition of Trending and emoji-based tabs when selecting Animated GIFs, as well as faster loading times when searching for certain animations. The Folders feature is now more flexible, and enables users to easily add or remove chats from saved folders. Simply highlight the desired group or individual chat, and a menu will pop-up which would prompt the user to either add to a specific folder or remove them.
Additionally, Telegram added that Android users will also be receiving some improvements in a separate update. Chat animations are now smoother, and the video player will now hide controls or long captions faster in order for users to enjoy the content. Videos shorter than 30 seconds will get looped automatically in chats.
Besides that, the app’s cache management interface on Android has also been tweaked, and an animated monkey is added to the Two-Step Verification page. Yeah, not much love for Android this time around… (Source: Telegram Blog)
