This announcement seemed to be nicely timed with the arrival of this year’s 11.11 shopping festival as two of the biggest online shopping platforms out there, Lazada and Taobao/Tmall have already supported payments through TnG eWallet. Not only that, these two platforms themselves are already ShopBack’s partners.
However, users will still receive the cashback through their ShopBack account instead of TnG eWallet. That being said, the company is already looking to provide such option in the future for those who prefer to receive their cashback through e-wallet or other alternative means.
