This model is slightly larger than its sibling, the Odyssey Neo G8 (known locally as the Odyssey G85), which debuted in Malaysia back in mid-2022. More specifically, it sports a 34-inch OLED screen with QHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels), 21:9 aspect ratio, 175 Hz refresh rate, 0.1 ms response time, as well as 1800R curvature. Additionally, the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black Certified, offers 100% colour volume and DCI-99.3% colour gamut, and comes with AMD FreeSync Premium. Also onboard is a 5W stereo speaker, a rear Samsung CoreSync and Core Lighting+ RGB lighting system, Micro HDMI (2.1) and Mini DP ports, as well as two USB-C ports for upstream and downstream. Meanwhile, included together with the Odyssey OLED G8 is a Height Adjustable Stand (HAS) with tilt functionality, providing ergonomic efficiency to users. The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 will retail at RM 7,599, with pre-orders opening starting 10 until 20 November 2022 via the brand’s online store, as well as its official stores on Lazada and Shopee. In conjunction with its launch, the company is also offering those pre-ordering the new gaming monitor with a complimentary Samsung HW-B4501 soundbar worth RM 799.
