The PlayGalaxy app functions more or less in the same manner as the aforementioned game streaming apps, albeit with a few drawbacks of its own. Firstly, it goes without saying that you’re going to need a very robust internet connection; to be on the safe side, Samsung recommends that you have a Gigabit router installed. On that last point, Samsung says that the app will still be able to stream games over regular Wi-Fi and 4G or 5G networks. The second thing you’ll need is a PC with some pretty hefty hardware running it. At the very least, you’ll need an Intel Core i5 or higher, either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 550 or greater, and 8GB RAM in order to stream games to the phone efficiently. You’ll also need a third-party Bluetooth controller to connect to the phone, such as the glap controller that you see in the demo video above. However, any Bluetooth controller that works with the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ will suffice. Lastly, you’ll an active Samsung account. One more point that seems important is the Galaxy phone in question; both Samsung and the video demo seem to suggest that the PlayGalaxy app will only work with the new Galaxy Note10 series, and there’s no indication if other devices will be able run the app. (Source: Techspot, PlayGalaxy)
