Starting with the base model, the Odyssey G3 comes in two display sizes, 24-inches and 27-inches. Both displays have a maximum resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080), along with panels that boast a 144Hz refresh rate with a 1ms response time via Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT). Moving up the ladder, the Odyssey G5 is the mid-level entry, and comes in a single 27-inch size. It supports HDR10 and has a native resolution of 2560 x 1440, or WQHD. Additionally, it has a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a 1ms GTG response time. Sitting at the top of the pedestal is the Odyssey G7. This gaming monitor boasts a 28-inch 4K display, with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and 1ms GTG response time. Moreover, the display is also HDR-ready and more specifically, it has support for VESA DisplayHDR 400.
Regardless of size, all Samsung 2021 Odyssey gaming monitors are NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. That said, both the Odyssey G3 and G5 support AMD’s FreeSync Premium, while the G7 supports FreeSync Premium Pro. Further, all three gaming monitors are flat panels.
