SamMobile reports that the Galaxy Z Flip 5G appeared on Geekbench. And according to the listing, the phone sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The listing also reveals that it has 8GB of RAM, which is similar to the current model.
The gap between the original Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and its 5G Variant is less than half a year apart. So on one hand, it’s not that outlandish to see the chipset upgrade. But on the other, a chipset upgrade isn’t really among the things you expect from a 5G variant of a phone. And a new chipset will likely have a higher price following close behind. The original Samsung Galaxy Z Flip had a price tag of RM5888 when it first made its way here.
