Interesting enough, the Galaxy S20 Ultra actually supports 5G as standard. In other words, there is no Galaxy S20 Ultra 4G-only model and subsequently, this also means the Galaxy S20 Ultra is going to be Samsung’s first-ever 5G phone in Malaysia.
In terms of 5G network support, Samsung stated that the Galaxy S20 Ultra supports both Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) 5G network. The phone also supports both sub-6 and mmWave frequencies (UPDATE – 15 Feb / 10:53PM: as it turns out, the Malaysian variant only supports sub-6 5G network.) as well as Dynamic Spectrum Sharing implementation. Equipped with 128GB internal storage and 12GB of RAM as standard, the Galaxy S20 Ultra can be obtained for RM 4,999. In conjunction with its release, Samsung Malaysia is offering free Galaxy Buds+ with each pre-order of the phone. For further information, just head on to Samsung Malaysia’s official website.
