As opposed to having a lower-end option as per Galaxy S10e, the company has opted for the higher-end model instead. Specifically, the series consisted of Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ as well as the Galaxy S20 Ultra which is the most premium model in the series.

Among the key factor that separated them apart is their screen size as the Galaxy S20 is equipped with a 6.2-inch display while the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra come with 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch display respectively. All three phones feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with quad HD+ native resolution, HDR10+ support, and 120Hz refresh rate. Camera-wise, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ are equipped with a 12MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens alongside 12MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle and 64MP f/2.0 telephoto cameras. The Galaxy S20+ also features another camera called DepthVision and for selfies, both phones rely on a 10MP f/2.2 front camera. While the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s rear camera array still features 12MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle and DepthVision cameras, it comes with a 108MP f/1.8 main camera alongside a 48MP f/3.5 telephoto camera. The phone also features a different 40MP sensor on its selfie camera.

Samsung also pointed out that the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ has a 3x Hybrid Optical Zoom and 30x Super Resolution Zoom while Galaxy S20 Ultra can reach even further at 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom and 100x Super Resolution Zoom. In case you are wondering, yes, all three phones are IP68 certified which means they are designed to withstand water depth of as low as 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. Another factor that separates them apart is their battery since Galaxy S20 carries a 4000mAh battery while the capacities on Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra are listed as 4500mAh and 5000mAh respectively. When it comes to fast charging support, the Galaxy S20 accepts up to 25W fast charger and Galaxy S20+ together with Galaxy S20 Ultra have no problem accepting power from up to 45W Super Fast charger.
