According to Videocardz, the GTX 1660 Ti won’t be based on the Pascal GPU architecture, but will instead be form fitted with NVIDIA’s new and current 12nm Turing GPU architecture. Not only that, but it seems that the GPU has its own name, TU116. Given the fact that it is a GTX-based card, it stands to reason that the GTX 1660 Ti will be devoid of the ray-tracing features that is present in the GeForce RTX series graphics cards. If this is the case, it could mean that the card might be priced cheaper than its RTX brethren.
Specs-wise, the GTX 1660 Ti will reportedly feature 1536 CUDA cores, will run on 6GB of GDDR6 memory. All of which will be spread out across a 192-bit memory bus. At the time of writing, NVIDIA has yet to comment on the existence of the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Until then, we do recommend that you take this news with a pinch of salt. (Source: Videocardz)
