Specifically, the outline design on the back area of the phone looked more similar to many other Android phones out there especially with the rectangular camera module on the top left of the section. Within the module is a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro cameras alongside a 2MP depth sensor while the selfie job on the phone is handled by a 16MP punch-hole camera on the top centre part of the 6R’s 6.67-inch Full HD+ 144Hz AMOLED display. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, the 5G gaming phone also features a pair of touch-based shoulder triggers that are said to have a 400Hz touch sampling rate. These triggers can be customised through the RedMagic Game Space software in order to fit the type of games that users play on the phone. However, the 6R carries a slightly smaller battery at 4200mAah as compared to the 6 and 6 Pro that feature a 5050mAh battery. The phone’s fast charger support is also limited to 30W which is less than half of what its older siblings can do. In terms of availability, the RedMagic 6R with 8GB/128GB setup is currently going for RM2,099 at Nubia Malaysia’s official store on Shopee. For those who prefer the higher-end 12GB/256GB variant, it is also available through the store at RM2,599. (Source: Nubia Malaysia / Shopee via Amanz.)
