Late last week, Nvidia posted a few screenshots of the game on Twitter, with its GeForce RTX logo. This led to rumours that the game’s PC version will come with ray tracing. Nvidia has since shot those rumours down in a followup tweet.

— NVIDIA GeForce (@NVIDIAGeForce) October 31, 2019 To be fair, The GeForce RTX label does look pretty similar to that of the RTX On. That latter one, as you can see below in a screenshot for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, is the one that actually denotes that ray tracing is available. But even without ray tracing, the PC version is set to be the most visually impressive version available.

As mentioned earlier, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on PC tomorrow, on 5 November 2019.
