Once the implementation is in place, this means that passengers will only able to pay for their rides on RapidKL buses through Touch ‘n Go-based cards. However, the implementation will be done in stages starting with Ampang corridor on 15 April 2019. The full electronic payment system will then extend to Cheras, Sungai Besi, and Jalan Klang Lama corridors on 29 April before being applied to Damansara, Jalan Ipoh, and Jalan Pahang corridors on 13 May. As for the Federal Highway corridor, the implementation will take place starting from 27 May.
