The update was discovered by a member in XDA. Who was clearly quite vigilant, since the update itself was low-key and under the radar. Specifically, the Snapdragon chipsets that are now capable of capturing 192MP photos are as listed below:

There are some prerequisites that must be met before the listed chipsets are able to capture images at such extreme resolutions. Specifically, the device that these chipsets are attached to must not use multi-frame noise reduction (MFNR) or utilise zero shutter lag technology.

Of course, the most obvious prerequisite is that the smartphone in question has a 192MP camera sensor. A component that doesn’t currently exist on the commercial market. On a somewhat related note, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset’s official specs sheet also got an update. The camera section now stating that it’s capable of taking photos at 48MP.
