Both TrueWireless Mirroring SoCs sport a variety of new and improved features. Including improved robustness and connectivity, better battery life, and the possibility for headphone and earbud manufacturers to create even more comfortable audio accessories. The QCC304X and QCC514X also feature new integrated dedicated hardware. For Hybrid Qualcomm Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Voice Assistant support, and naturally, better sound quality. More importantly, the new hybrid ANC has super-low latency leak through, with Qualcomm insisting that the technology can be applied in other scenarios besides an airplane.
On paper, both SoCs should be able to run for approximately 13 hours on a 65mAh battery. That’s a pretty impressive number, especially if you look at it from the context of true wireless (TWS) earbuds; even the most premium earbuds only have enough battery to last between six and eight hours. At the time of writing, Qualcomm did not specify when it intends to roll out its new TrueWireless Mirroring Technology.
