Pos Malaysia has then released a follow-up statement earlier today at around 12:23 PM which provides some clue to the situation that it is facing at the moment. According to the statement, the company apparently noticed several internal systems that could cause technical problems.
The company further explains that it then decided to shut down the said systems and related applications in order to rectify the situation. At 5:35 PM, Pos Malaysia has sent another statement, this time directly to our inbox which said that the majority of its services at all branches throughout the country are still available despite the prolonged disruptions on its internal systems and online services. However, none of these statements has provided any exact timeline on when customers can expect for the affected systems and services to be operational once again though. Given that 24 hours have passed since the official statement was published by Pos Malaysia, it is quite clear that this is not any ordinary disruption.
Nevertheless, we’ll keep you posted once we receive more updates from Pos Malaysia. So, stay tuned. (Image: Lowyat.NET Forums.)
