What makes NVIDIA’s RTX Studio notebooks stand out from its usual gaming-grade thin and light notebooks are the specs and hardware that is typically used in these machines. Depending on user preference, an RTX Studio notebook usually feature either a GeForce or Quadro RTX discrete GPU, has up to a 4K HDR display, runs on the latest 9th generation Intel Core i7 or Core i9. Comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM or more, and a high capacity NVMe PCIe SSE. Additionally, RTX Studio notebooks typically have the largest graphics memory at 16GB GDDR6. Thanks in no small part to the Quadro RTX discrete GPU. Further, and unlike gaming notebooks, the RTX Studio notebooks come with dedicated drivers and SDKs. Designed and tailored specifically to professionals working in the film, science, and production industry.
With the announcement of the new notebooks, the current number of RTX Studio notebooks currently sits at 27 models. However, at the time of writing, and with the exception of the BOXX brand, there’s still no official word from Lenovo, HP, or Dell. Regarding when they intend to make their RTX Studio notebooks available locally.
