The aesthetics of the GT76 Titan is near identical to its predecessor, the GT75 Titan, but there are some noticeable differences. Firstly, the display now sits further inside the base of the notebook, that in turn makes the spine of the new desktop replacement stick out. The notebook still retains the sports car-themed vents at the back, and remains free of any ports.
As indicated by previous online images, an RGB strip can be found at the bottom of the GT76 Titan, and stretches to its sides and the front. Like its predecessor, the GT76 Titan features a full-size keyboard, complete with per-key RGB. Specs-wise, the GT76 Titan can be equipped with up to a 9th generation Intel Core i9-9900K CPU, up to 128GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. Actively cooling it all off is MSI’s new Cooler Boost Titan technology that utilises 11 heat pipes.
Storage for the GT76 Titan comprises three NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 SSDs and a SATA HDD combo, although MSI did not specify the notebook’s maximum storage capacity to us at the time. For its display, the notebook sports a 17.3-inch panel, which can either be a Full HD IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate or a 4K 100% Adobe RGB IPS panel, but with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. Ports-wise, the notebook sports a two USB-C port (one with Thunderbolt 3), four USB Type-A ports, an RJ45 LAN port, a microSD card reader, one HDMI 2.0b port, and a mini DisplayPort.
At the time of writing, MSI did not specify a price for the GT76 Titan. It did, however, tell us that it intends to bring the notebook to Malaysia sometime in July.
