MCMC’s new Twitter account went on to tweet more inspirational posters throughout the day with a few minor announcements in between. While it only has three-digit followers so far and has yet to be verified at the time this article was published, the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM) is one of its earliest followers which might be proof of the account’s authenticity.

Subsequent investigation showed that it had belonged to a different individual a few years prior and may have been bought by an employee of MCMC. Not long after, KKMM set up a special committee to investigate the matter of the allegedly bought account and in April, the ministry said the probe was stuck as some of the individuals allegedly involved in the matter are no longer working with MCMC. So far, there’s been no update on the matter and MCMC’s new account might even be a sign that the agency is moving on from the issue. (Sources: Amanz, The Vibes)
