That said, it appears that each variant of the iPhone 11 will be getting different levels of upsizing. Specifically, the successor to the iPhone XS will come with up to a 25% increase in battery capacity. As for the replacements for the iPhones XS Max and XR, the increments are slightly more meagre, reportedly at 15% and 5%, respectively.
As a reference, the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR respectively come with 2658mAh, 3175mAh and 2942mAh non-removable batteries. If these figures are accurate, it will bring the batteries of all three assumed upcoming iPhone variants well beyond the 3000mAh threshold. For that matter, Apple has not released any official statement on the matter, and it still remains to be seen if these increases in battery size will indeed come to pass. We’ll have to wait for the Apple’s announcement later this year. (Source: 9to5Mac)
