In addition to being Chromium-based, Microsoft is integrating Internet Explorer into the new Edge browser itself through a new feature called IE mode which was revealed today at the Build 2019 developer conference. Fret not, users are able to activate this particular mode through its own separate tab although IE mode is currently designed only for the usage of enterprise segment. Aside from that, Microsoft has also implemented new privacy tools into the browser. Consisted of three options including Unrestricted, Balanced, and Strict, Edge will automatically adjust how other parties are able to track users when they are using the internet. There’s also another new feature that Microsoft called Collections. Working in hand with Microsoft Office, it apparently allows users to collect, organize, share, and export contents from the web in a more efficient manner. These new features might sound rather interesting, Microsoft didn’t reveal the exact release date for them though aside from that they will be rolled out in phases as we get closer to the launch of the new browser.
