As per a report by Techspot, the upcoming 9th generation H-Series series of CPUs will include two Core i9s, two Core i7s, and two Core i5 processors. At the higher of the spectrum, the top-of-the-line Core i9-9980HK CPU will be packing an 8-cores, 16-threads die layout. Along with a factory boost clock speed of 5GHz and 16MB L3 cache. There’s also the Core i9-9880H; that CPU sports the same number of cores and L3 cache size as the Core i9-9980HK, but has a slightly lower boost clock speed at 4.8GHz.

Moving on, the list also shows the two Core i7 CPUS: the Core i7-9850H and Core i7-9750H. Both of these CPUs are fitted with a 6-cores, 12-threads die layout. However, both the Core i7-9850H and Core i7-9750H have boost clockspeeds of 4.6GHz and 4.5GHz, respectively. Last but not least on the list is the Core i5 processors – the Core i5-9400H and Core i5-9300H. Specs-wise, the processors use a 4-cores, 8-threads layout, will have a 8MB L3 cache, but have different boost clockspeeds of 4.3GHz and 4.1GHz, respectively.

At this time, there’s still no word from Intel as to when these CPUs will be hitting the market. Given the trend that Intel has adopted over the years with the imminent arrival of new CPUs – desktop and notebook variants alike – it’s likely that we could be looking at notebooks fitted with these new processors sometime in the middle of this year.
