Both the Cloud Stinger Core and Core Wireless come with 40mm drivers and support a frequency response of between 20 and 20000 Hz.You get steel sliders within the headband for easy fit adjustments. They also have microphones that swivel up and down, just like the original Cloud Stinger. But it doesn’t look like they make use of memory foam. In terms of weight, both should come in at around 245g,
The latter also makes use of the 2.4GHz WiFi band for its wireless connectivity, with a range of just under 20m. The company also says it has a battery life of up to 16 hours. The wired model, on the other hand, has a cable that measures just slightly over 2.4m. Beyond their 7.1 virtual surround sound, they look to be your average entry-level gaming headsets. The HyperX Cloud Stinger Core is priced at US$60 (~RM263), while the Wireless model comes in at US$80 (~RM351). No word on local pricing and availability just yet, though.
