So what’s different with the GT 2e compared to the standard Watch GT 2? To start, the Watch GT 2e comes with an integrated strap, which looks a lot like the one found on the Apple Watch NikeLab. It comes with a stainless steel case, and a concealed crown, making it look like a more conventional digital watch. Its screen is a familiar 1.39-inch 454 x 454 AMOLED display. On the inside, it has 4GB of storage space. The Huawei Watch GT 2e also has the same Kirin A1 chip from before. As mentioned, the watch features the series’ two-week battery life, with normal use. With its GPS active, it can still last for up to 30 hours. And it can last 24 hours of continuous music playback.
Being a smart watch, it also comes with other health-centric features. It has SpO2 blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep and stress monitors, as well as auto-detection for up to 100 workouts. Fittingly, it also has a familiar 5ATM water resistance rating to go with it. The Huawei Watch GT 2e is priced at EUR199 (~RM951). The company did not announce when it will be available though. Of course, that means we don’t know when it will be coming to our shores, or what it’s priced like once it gets here. (Source: Huawei [1], [2])
