To recap, the Watch GT 2 is powered by Huawei’s proprietary Kirin A1 chipset, as well as its own Lite OS. Specs-wise, the watch comes with the standard connectivity features. Including GPS, GLONASS, and Bluetooth 5.1. Further, it also comes with a built-in optical heart rate sensor, enabling users to keep track of their heart rate in any situation.
On another note, the Watch GT 2 is also waterproof, capable of being submerged at a depths of up to 50 metres for 10 minutes. Also, the smartwatch comes with a 2GB built-in storage capacity, allowing owners to playback music via its built-in speakers. The main appeal of the Watch GT 2, however, is its 14-day battery life on a single charge. The Huawei Watch GT 2 is available in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm. However, it should be made clear that Huawei is only bringing in the 46mm variant. That variant retails for RM799, and is available at all official Huawei outlets and authorised resellers.
In conjunction with its official launch, Huawei is also bundling an additional Watch GT 2 strap worth RM69 with every purchase of the smartwatch, for free.
