The images come by way of the popular China-based microblogging site, Sina Weibo. Judging by the pictures, the alleged Nova 6 will sport a dual selfie camera system, situated at the top-left corner of the phone’s 6.44-inch LCD display. Punch hole placement aside, the design itself is similar to the dual punch hole selfie camera Samsung introduced with its Galaxy S10+. Specs-wise, the selfie cameras are believed to be a 32MP and an 8MP ultrawide. On its side, the Nova 6 seems to be fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner cum power button. Around the back, the phone looks relatively clear of any physical feature, save for the triple-camera module at the top-left corner.
The images don’t reveal much about the Nova 6’s remaining hardware, but a recent GeekBench listing seems to suggest that the phone will be powered by Huawei’s flagship Kirin 990 SoC, 8GB RAM, and will run on Android 10 OS on top of EMUI 10. At this stage, however, it is unlikely that the phone will ship out with Google Mobile Services (GMS) due to the current US ban on Huawei. (Source: GSMArena [1] [2] via Weibo // Image: Weibo)
