Just like other MagicBook models that are available in Malaysia at the moment, the upcoming MagicBook 14 2021 continues to feature aluminium chassis. With a thickness of 15.9mm, the 1.38kg laptop can also be laid flat thanks to its 180° hinge design.
Originally launched around two months ago in China, the Malaysian variant is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor which carries six CPU cores, 12 processing threads, and an integrated Vega-based Radeon RX graphics. It also comes standard with 8GB of dual-channel RAM for our market alongside a 14-inch Full HD IPS display. Certain HONOR phones with Magic UI 4.0 or newer are able to take advantage of the multi-screen collaborative feature on the MagicBook 14 2021 which allows users to mirror up to three different screens from their smartphones on the laptop. Additionally, users are also able to transfer files easily between the MagicBook and phones through the feature.
Alongside the support for Wi-Fi 6, the laptop is also equipped with a 56Whr battery that is able to provide it with 11 hours of local video playback according to HONOR. Each MagicBook 14 2021 with Ryzen 5000 chip is also accompanied by a 65W USB-C charger that can replenish 65% of the laptop’s capacity within 1 hour. In terms of pricing, the 256GB variant of the MagicBook 14 2021 will go for RM2,699 while the 512GB version can be obtained for RM2,999.
