As announced during Gamescom, Guerrilla Games announced that Horizon Forbidden West will be released on 18 February 2022. Which is definitely quite a bit away from the late 2021 window when the game was first revealed. That being said, with the ongoing pandemic going on, and so many other developers making similar decisions, it’s not really a surprise at all.

Key improvements include 60fps and checkerboard 4K. And these improvements are free to anyone who already have the game.

Guerrilla Games says that the game will be released on both PS4 and PS5 on 18 February 2022. The company says that pre-orders will be open starting 2 September.
