To recap, the company explained that the new service is its first foray into grocery delivery functioning from a physical store which only caters to online shopping. Through GrabSupermarket, it aims to provide households within its operating area with over 2,500 products ranging from fresh produce, beverages, necessities and more. The store itself, according to Grab, is located “in the middle of the high traffic areas in the Klang Valley” which began servicing a limited area during its pilot testing. The company promises that GrabSupermarket offers affordable and high-quality products to customers at maximum value and freshness within 24 hours, and at zero delivery fees. It added that Platinum customers are eligible to save up to a further 5% off all of their grocery runs with GrabSupermarket through GrabPay Credits and the Maybank Grab Mastercard Platinum Credit Card.

With today’s launch, the company has revealed that its new service will operate throughout all areas across Klang Valley. Those who wish to try out GrabSupermarket may do so by accessing it under the Mart category on the Grab mobile application, available on both iOS and Android devices.
