The image was taken courtesy of @_luisbrian. Apparently, he took the photo of the alleged Pixel 4 while riding the train in the London Underground. While its exterior is not made obvious due to its casing, the phone’s main camera sensor arrangement and cutout is more or less a dead giveaway. Images and concept renders of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL have already begun circulating the internet, and even Google itself acknowledges the existence of its own devices and the square-shaped module. Leading many to believe that it will be launching the phones sometime in the second half of this year (presumably in October).
Information about the phone’s hardware still remains elusive, but considering Google’s intended launch period, it’s likely that the flagships will be sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC internally, plus a healthy amount of RAM and internal storage. In regards to the phone’s alleged main triple camera setup, one of the modules is suspected to be a 16MP telephoto lens. As always, much of the information is still just speculations, so it would be best to take this bit of news with the same pinch of salt. At least, until the Pixel 4 series becomes official.
