In general, both devices are deemed as mid-range phones since they are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor. They also come standard with Google’s own Titan M security chip alongside 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. They are also equipped with a Full HD+ OLED display panel although the Pixel 3a screen size is slightly smaller at 5.6-inch as compared to Pixel 3a XL’s 6-inch screen. Both devices do share the same 12.2MP dual-pixel f/1.8 rear camera and 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
In terms of battery, the Pixel 3a has a capacity of 3000mAh while the Pixel 3a XL offers 3700mAh and both of them also support 18W fast charging capability. A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner is also a standard on these devices. Price-wise, the Pixel 3a goes for USD 399 (about RM 1,656) while the larger Pixel 3a XL is listed at USD 479 (about RM 1,989). For now, both phones are not officially available in Malaysia since Pixel phones are part of the 98% Made By Google products that the company didn’t release into our market.
