Hints of the supposed Pixel 3 XL Lite first cropped up at on mobile score site, Geekbench. The site lists down the model as a “Foxconn Pixel 3 XL”, with a single-core and multi-core score of 1805 and 5790 points, respectively. What gives the phone away is “sdm710” code in the motherboard listing; the official product code for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC. Further, the memory section lists down the device as having approximately 6GB of RAM. Clearly, these aren’t the hardware specifications of a full-on and actual Pixel 3 XL. On top of that, the phone is listed as having been tested on the Android 9 Pie OS.
At this stage, there’s no indication as to when the Pixel 3 XL Lite will launch, or if it will launch with this namesake. One thing that is certain, however, is the unlikelihood of the phone ever officially being brought into Malaysia. Considering the fact that Google has never officially launched its Pixel smartphones in the country. (Source: Geekbench via BGR, The Inquirer)
