Like its siblings, the newer Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition sports the same 44 mm body with 3ATM water resistance and a 1.28-inch OLED touch display. In terms of colour selection, this variant is offered in three options: Black, Silver, and Rose Gold. Meanwhile, under the hood is a Snapdragon 4100+ chip, along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. Additionally, it comes with the same battery capacity as the standard Gen 6, so you can expect it to last over 24 hours on a single charge as well. Fast charging support is also present, which Fossil claims is capable of topping up 80% of the device’s battery levels in just 30 minutes. Furthermore, the Gen 6 Wellness Edition is the first product from the brand to come with the new Google and Samsung developed Wear OS 3.0. With this, the smartwatch supports a variety of apps such as YouTube Music, Spotify, Facer, and more. Of course, linking it to the Fossil Smartwatches mobile app on both iOS and Android will enable for time synchronisation, notifications, Bluetooth-based calls, and much more. There’s also the new and exclusive Wellness app, which offers numerous health-oriented features. These include blood oxygen level measurement, heart rate zones, automatic workout detection, cardio fitness estimations via V02 Max, sleep tracking and continuous heart rate monitoring. The new Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition is slated to be released in certain markets starting 17 October 2022, and will retail for US$ 299 (~RM 1,405). The company has not confirmed whether the watch will be coming to Malaysia at this time, though there is a possibility that it might. This is given the fact that the other Gen 6 models eventually arrived to the local market much later than their international debut. (Source: Fossil [official website])
