Of course, the severity of today’s flash flood in Kuala Lumpur goes beyond these areas as noted by many media reports since a few hours ago. In a post by the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) on its Facebook page, the agency acknowledged that the river level in some areas within Kuala Lumpur has passed the warning level as of 5:00 PM today including Sg Batu in Sentul, Sg Klang in Jambatan Sulaiman and Lebuh Pasar as well as Sg Gombak in Jalan Parlimen.

That being said, Kuala Lumpur City Hall has tweeted at 6:27 PM that the flood in all roads with the exception of Bulatan Pudu underpass has since receded. (Source: TNB / Facebook.)
