A number of subscribers have voiced their grievances on Reddit since the initial announcement. While they can place scraps into the Scrapbox just fine during play, all the scrap stored in there will all be gone when they log out or change worlds. Another subscriber exclusive feature, Private Worlds, also appears to not be as private as the name would suggest. For one, some players have entered their own private servers only to find dead enemies and no loot. This suggests that the private servers are still shared between subscribers, rather than each subscriber getting their own server.
It also appears that as as long as someone was on the friends list of a Fallout 1st subscriber, they could jump into their Private Worlds without actually getting an invitation from said subscriber. If there are no Fallout 1st subscribers within the Private Worlds, then non-subscribers within it will be kicked out. It’s amazing to see that there are those who have sunk in cash for the Fallout 1st subscription in the first place. And for a subscription service on top of a paid game, it’s disheartening to see it being as buggy as it is. So, even if you’re a die-hard Fallout 76 fan, maybe resist the urge to subscribe? At least for awhile longer. (Source: Reddit [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] via GamesRadar+)
