Dolby’s angle for marketing the Vision describes the wireless headphones set as “the first wireless headphones perfected for home entertainment”. On paper, the headphone’s also seems to be packing a lot of heat. For starters, it comes with support for Dolby’s LifeMix. A feature that enables active noise cancellation (ANC), as well as a “Transparency” mode that allows to tweak the volume of the noise level in your immediate surrounding without ever having to remove the headset. Of the charger, Dolby says that Vision goes a full 10 hours continuously when used with LifeMix and Virtualisation, or 15 hours in Low Power Mode. Fully charging the headphones will a full two hours, while a quick charge between 15 and 20 minutes will give you users approximately two hours of use. Specs-wise, the headphones weigh in at approximately 330g, and is powered by an unnamed quad-core Qualcomm ARM chipset. Each speaker uses a 40mm custom-designed acoustic driver, with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20KHz. Along with a custom Dolby EQ too. The headset also 5 built-in omni-directional microphones, so whoever’s calling you will always be able to hear you clearly. On that note, the Dolby Vision can be paired with up to devices via the Dolby Dimension app, which is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App store. The Dolby Vision is already listed as available the brand’s official site, and retails for US$599 (~RM2510).At the time of writing, the headphones are only available in the US, with no indication if Dolby intends to launch the headphones in the Asia region, let along Malaysia.
