From the description, the Mavic Mini is comparably smaller than the Mavic Air, and lighter to boot. Where the Mavic Air weighs in at 430g, the Mavic Mini is nearly half that at 249g. On top of that, it also appears to be significantly smaller, with one product image showcasing how the drone easily fits within the palm of one’s hand when folded. Unsurprisingly, the Mavic Mini does seem to sacrifice some features due to its smaller chassis too. For starters, it only has a 2.7K resolution camera, versus the 4K resolution camera that comes with the Mavic Air and Mavic Pro.
Battery-wise, the Mavic Mini will supposedly be capable of up to a maximum of 30 minutes of flight time. on top of that, the drone has an HD video transmission of up to 4km, plus a vision sensor and GPS Precise Hover. Also, the listing says that it will come with its own controller. As for pricing, the DJI Mavic Mini’s SRP is currently being listed as CA$645.20 (~RM2067). However, it should be noted that DJI has yet to make any official statement about its upcoming drone, neither has it listed the official pricing.
