While the game does show players how he came about, there are some rather important details missing about the man. Details such as his encounter with the three familiars, which he commands as surrogate weapons in-game. Essentially, the manga serves as a prequel, but with a very specific focus on one character.
The manga is drawn by Tomio Ogata, and will be released on LINE Manga as an original series. It’s unknown as of yet if any English publishers will be picking the title up and translating it, as LINE Manga can only be used in Japan (VPNs notwithstanding). On that note, the manga itself will obviously be written entirely in Japanese. Devil May Cry 5: Visions of V will begin serialisation on 27 April 2019, with a Chapter 0 prologue already out.
