DXM allows players to create their own ingame avatar and pilot bipedal combat mechas known as Arsenals, which they can also customise to fit their playstyle. The game pits players against a variety of enemies including mobile armour, enemy mechas, and gigantic bosses. One of the main draws of DXM is its ingame cell-shaded graphics which gives the game an action anime-like experience.
Aside from taking on missions in the game’s single player campaign, DXM also offers online co-op and competitive multiplayer content. Co-op allows up to 4 players to undertake certain missions and boss fights, while competitive provides 1v1 and 2v2 combat. Daemon X Machina will be available for PC via Steam on 14 February 2020 and is currently offered at a discounted pre-order price of RM76. The game will then retail at RM95 after the promotion ends on the day of its launch. All previous downloadable content (except for some licensed or Switch exclusive add-ons) will be included in the PC release. (Source: Daemon X Machina via Steam / Xceed Games.)
