To recap, both watches feature patterned designs and colours based on their respective franchises. The G-Shock x One Piece GA-110JOP sports illustrations of its main protagonist Monkey D Luffy, iconic motifs on its watchface, and engraved logo on its rear stainless steel plate. Similarly, the G-Shock x Dragon Ball Z GA-110JDB features illustrations of Son Goku, the 4-star dragon ball and Z logo motifs, and an engraving of the series’ logo on its rear plating as well.
The first to arrive on our shores will be the One Piece G-Shock watch, which will launch next month in July 2020. Meanwhile, the Dragon Ball Z version will only ship to Malaysia sometime in August this year.
Casio has yet to confirm the local prices for the watches, and is likely to announce them once the release date for each product draws close. As reference, both the One Piece and Dragon Ball Z limited edition G-Shock watches are priced at JPY26,400 (~RM1,052) on the official Casio Japan website.
