The statement noted that the homologous administration of AstraZeneca and CoronaVac booster doses can be done on those aged 18 years and above. What this means is that if you were administered with the AstraZeneca vaccine, the booster dose would be AstraZeneca as well and the same concept applies to CoronaVac recipients too. On another hand, CoronaVac recipients can choose to take the booster dose between three to six months after they have received their second dose. That being said, details regarding the rollout of the AstraZeneca and CoronaVac booster dose have not yet been announced by the COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force-Booster (CITF-B).
