Kuo notes that an Apple Silicon 13.3-inch MacBook Pro will go into mass production in the final quarter of 2020. At the same time, he strongly believes that a new ARM-based MacBook Air is also expected to be introduced alongside the Pro, or at least in the first quarter of next year. Additionally, the analyst speculates that mini-LED equipped 16-inch and 14.1-inch MacBook Pros will likely arrive in the second or third quarter of 2021. He noted that both of these will sport an “all-new form factor design” along with the Apple Silicon architecture.

However, Kuo did not mention the Silicon-based iMac in his report which he previously predicted to see a release in late 2020 or early 2021. MacRumors, on the other hand, believes that a redesigned iMac could still launch within this year, but noted that it may still be an Intel-based machine. Until Apple confirms these themselves, it’s best to take Kuo’s or other industry sources’ reports as mere speculations for the time being. (Source: TechCrunch / MacRumors)
