This isn’t the first time that an eavesdropping bug had been discovered in Apple’s iOS software. Earlier this year, another vulnerability was discovered in Apple’s FaceTime app. Allowing people to listen in before a call was accepted. The bug affected the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Apple released a fix for the bug a little more than a week after that.
At this time, Apple says that it is currently working on a fix for the Walkie-Talkie app bug, but fell short of saying when the fix would be available.
