Probably the most substantial new feature of Android 10 Go is the Adiantum encryption. Google claims that this new encryption method is made to run efficiently without specialised software. This allows entry level phones to have the same level of data security as any other Android device. Most importantly, performance won’t end up taking a hit for the sake of better security.
In addition to encryption, Android 10 Go will also bring about improved performance overall. Google says you can expect app launch speeds that’s 10% faster than before. You’ll also get new AI-powered features like read-out-aloud, Lens in Google Go and Gallery Go. YouTube Go will also be returning to help users watch videos on low-speed connections. The search giant said to expect new phones running Android 10 Go later in fall. With that, chances are any new Android Go phones announced beyond this week will feature this particular version of Android. (Source: Google)
