According to Videocardz, the alleged RTX 3070 Ti may just ship out with a GA104-400 GPU, which is a step-up from the RTX 3070’s GA104-300 GPU architecture. Additionally, the RTX 3070 Ti is expected to use the faster GDDR6X memory standard, but still retain the same amount of memory at 8GB. Of course, seeing how the card is a slightly souped-up version of the RTX 3070, the card is also rumoured to have 6144 CUDA Cores, 48 GPU clusters, 48 RT Cores, 192 Tensor Cores, and 96 ROPs. As for when the card will be made available, we could be looking at a possible May launch, right after the launch of the RTX 3080 Ti in April.
On that note and getting back to the RTX 3080 Ti, the card is rumoured to have nearly as many CUDA cores as the RTX 3090 at 10240 units, along with a greater bandwidth of 864GB/s. Of course, these are all just unofficial whispers and hearsay from a variety of sources and NVIDIA is still keeping to its “We don’t comment on rumours and unreleased products” boilerplate reply. So, as always, take this news with a grain of salt. (Source: Videocardz)
