Gamers who installed the drivers noted the performance decrease in the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO); prior to the update, he averaged 320 fps. Upon installing the new driver, the framerate count hovered between 200 and 209 fps, more than 100 fps less than the previous driver. The framerate throttling isn’t isolated to just CS:GO either. Another GeForce user reported on NVIDIA’s official forums that the new driver cut the framerates in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, while another says that he experienced stuttering in the same game....
