The alleged proof of the feat was posted on the Chinese social media platform, Baidu, by an individual who goes by the user name “Xiaochun”. Xiaochun is making the claim that they have successfully managed to overclock a 13900K, of 6.09GHz, to be a bit more precise. On paper, both the 13900K and 13700K are expected to be similar, the main exception between the two being the number of E-Cores they possess: the 13900K will have double that of the 13700K, at 16 E-Cores instead of eight....

The pre-built Lenovo desktop PC, the Legion T7 34IMZ5, was found briefly listed on the German online retail store, Alternate, by GameStar. According to the listing, the RTX 3070 Ti inside the machine seems to be sporting 16GB of GDDR6 memory, which is significantly more than what the current RTX 3070 has. After GameStar reached out, Alternate swiftly took down the product listing, claiming that RTX 3070 Ti being listed was due to a bug in its system....

As mentioned during our previous reports, Radeon Instinct cards or accelerators are not meant for gaming despite the Radeon label on its name. Instead, they are designed for data centers as well as deep learning and high-performance computing applications. Equipped with a Vega 20-based GPU that was built on TSMC’s 7nm FinFET, Radeon Instinct MI60 carries 64 Compute Units which has 4096 stream processors with maximum clock speed of 1800MHz....

Specs-wise, the 5600 XT is only available in one graphics memory configuration, which is 6GB GDDR6. Additionally, it has 36 Compute Units, 2304 Stream Processors, a base clock of 1375MHz, and a boost clock of 1560MHz. On the subject of power consumption, the card is a little bit more demanding than the 5500 XT at 150W, but it’s just a mere 20W more so it’s not really that big a gap....

The announcement and names of the cards are self-serving and leave little to the imagination: each of the three cards are technically faster, slightly more refined versions of their predecessors, the 6900XT, 6700XT, and 6600XT. On paper, the internal specifications are identical to their predecessors: we’re still looking at the same amount of graphics memory for each respective cards, as well as the same number of Compute Units (CU) and Ray Accelerators (RAs)....

As per its name, Zen 2 is the successor to the original 14nm Zen architecture that the company introduced in 2015 before rolling out Zen-based products into the market starting from early 2017. While AMD did introduce the 12nm Zen+ architecture for consumer-oriented 2nd Gen Ryzen and Ryzen Threadripper processors, the next generation Epyc processor – codenamed “Rome” – will jump straight to the 7nm Zen 2 architecture. By opting for 7nm process technology, it apparently allows AMD to double Zen 2’s chip density while cutting power consumption to half and achieve 25% more performance than its predecessor....

To be fair, AMD’s promotion isn’t just limited to its new Zen 3-based CPUs, but also for a few of its Zen 2, Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. MacRumors reports that Kuo predicts the Apple mixed reality headset to be a “helmet type” product. The prediction sort of corroborates a previous one by JPMorgan Chase analyst Yang Weilun. In addition to the same release year, Kuo also echoes the prediction that the headset will provide the AR part of the mixed reality via “several optical modules”. He also predicts that it will come with a price of US$1000....
