As a role-playing game (RPG), Octopath Traveler is pretty successful. Widely acclaimed for its classic RPG elements, it combines 2D aesthetics in a 3D world for a pretty unique experience. For those who are unfamiliar with the game, you play the titular eight characters, each with their own stories to tell. You’ll also take them through eight vast regions throughout the process of each character’s journey. Octopath Traveler will be available on Steam on 8 June 2019....

Cointelegraph reports that one obscure cryptocurrency called Omicron shot up by over 900% in value. This happened following the World Health Organisation’s naming of the new COVID-19 variant. According to the report, the Omicron OMIC token started in early November as a fork of the OlympusDAO DeFi protocol. Considering it was established early in the month and the new virus variant was named at the tail end, the name is likely a coincidence....

One of the updated features to the OnePlus 8T is its display. Instead of the curved panel that’s been employed with both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, the 8T uses a flat display. To be clear, it’s still a 6.55-inch OLED panel, and it still has the same 120Hz refresh rate, but it’s clear that OnePlus chose the flat display for the sake of mobile gaming. On that note, OnePlus also announced that the OnePlus 8T, along with its other OnePlus 8 siblings, will be able to run Epic Games’ Fortnite at 90 fps....

There are four loan apps that were implicated in the report. They are OKash and OPesa which is available in Kenya, OPay in Nigeria, and CashBean in India. These apps reportedly display different loan rates than what users actually get. The apps had a loan period of 91-365 days. But according to the report, the actual term could be as short as 15-29 days. Through the program, owners of flood-damaged OPPO smartphones can obtain up to 30% discount on selected spare parts for certain models.
